DRAX — Immersive Forests
The problem
DRAX's sustainability film required gigapixel stills, 360 video, aerial 360 and conventional videography — four disciplines most vendors can only subcontract.
The approach
Cover every format in-house, with UK stitching studio Surround Vision handling post.
What was built
48 video deliverables, 28 unique stitched shots at 7680×3840, roughly 11.5 minutes of runtime.
The outcome
Active 2025 engagement. Panogs' own business-development notes cite it as a win competitors couldn't match on format coverage.
DRAX — the UK renewable energy company — commissioned Panogs for “Immersive Forests,” a sustainability-focused film combining gigapixel stills, 360-degree video, aerial 360 drone footage, and traditional videography, produced in partnership with UK VR stitching studio Surround Vision (Richard Stegmann).
Panogs’ own internal business-development notes single this project out as a clear example of winning work competitors couldn’t: “Panogs was able to do multiple facets of the project — gigapixel, 360 video, aerial 360 video, and traditional videography — with minimal oversight and supervision.” Production shotlists and post-production estimates from July 2025 show a 48-shot, 7,680×3,840-resolution deliverable running roughly 11 minutes 30 seconds, edited from a mix of Titan static rigs, VRdrone aerial footage, and Inspire 2 X5 capture.
Source note: confirmed via Panogs’ own contemporaneous production documents (shotlists, post estimates, internal business-development notes) — primary source, not press coverage. A strong, current, well-documented credit; independent third-party confirmation (DRAX’s own materials, if public) would move this to the top verification tier.
